The latest updates on Colorado’s new longitudinal data system

Thank you to everyone who joined The Attainment Network’s State of Data meeting last week.

We shared key updates on the efforts to design and build Colorado’s new Statewide Longitudinal Data System (SLDS).

Progress so far includes establishing governance structures, defining guiding principles, and drafting use cases to ensure real-world impact. Next steps involve finalizing the legal framework and launching an RFP.

Thank you to Jess Kostelnick from the Governor’s Office, and Shannon Nicholas and Amber Elias from The Better Data for Better Decisions Coalition for presenting the updates and providing opportunities to stay informed about this important initiative.

You can engage in this effort by joining the next Better Data for Better Decisions Coalition meeting on Feb. 20 at 10 a.m. and exploring valuable reports from BDBD, the Talent Pipeline Report, and more.

Thanks for being part of this important work to strengthen Colorado’s education-to-career systems.
