Michelle Camacho Liu joins the team as a Pathways Director bringing over 12 years of experience in postsecondary access and success, including the development & implementation of state, institution, and organizational policy, and the creation of direct student service programming. Focused on ensuring long-term student success in an ever-evolving workforce, she has partnered with key stakeholders in creating equitable systems that work for all.
Before joining The Attainment Network, Michelle served as the Director of College Success at the Denver Scholarship Foundation (DSF) where she led a team to provide wrap-around support for students throughout their college journey. Before DSF, she worked for the Colorado Department of Education as a Postsecondary Readiness Coordinator and at the National Conference of State Legislators as a Postsecondary Education Policy Specialist.
Michelle grew up in California where she completed her bachelor’s degree in Psychology at the University of California, Riverside. She has happily called Colorado home since 2008 when she earned her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Denver. Fueled by her grandparents’ passion for service and education, Michelle is driven to continue their legacy in her work and in raising her young adult children, Evan & Elliot.
